It’s official.
The new school year will begin after the Labor Day long weekend.
The Ministry of Education has approved the school calendar for local school board for the 2018/2019 academic year.
That means the first day of classes will be September 5th. The 4th, will be a professional development day for staff and teachers.
It also means, the final day of classes next year will be June 28th, a full week later than this year.
