Provincial Police in Kenora and Fort Frances are reporting that they have located two missing fishermen from a resort on the south end of Lake of the Woods.
It was originally reported that the boat was last observed near Fadden’s Island on Tuesday, and OPP were originally dispatched on Wednesday October 10th.
The OPP Marine and Trails Unit, OPP Emergency Response Team with help from the Ministry of Natural Resources, the Canadian Military and other community partners located the two stranded fishermen who were transported to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
