MNR Concerned About Human-Caused Fires

The Ministry of Natural Resources is concerned about the number of human-caused fires in the Northwest, especially after the long weekend.
Fire Information Officer Deb MacLean says while a number of fires are still being investigated, several blazes were caused by campfires which were improperly put out.
MacLean is urging campers to be careful and notes stiff fines could be imposed for those who fail to follow the rules.
