There are 13-active forest fires across northwestern Ontario.
None of the fires are considered serious and most are in the far north.
The fire hazard is low in the south and moderate to high in the central and northern sections of the region.
There was 1-new lightning caused fire in the Sioux Lookout district Wednesday and the blaze is being monitored.
The Ministry of Natural Resources says 474-personnel from Ontario are in B.C. and the Northwest Territories fighting fires there.
More support is expected to be sent today.
