MNR Creating Employment Opportunities

The Ministry of Natural Resources has created 6-youth employment
programs to help students find work this summer.
Jobs for students and interns include research for species at risk,
fish and wildlife management, maintaining trails and mapping projects.
Minister David Ramsay says it’s a win-win situation for youth and the
government.
Ramsay says 2,100 jobs for youth have been created under the
program.
He says a good chunk of the intern positions are allocated for
Northern Ontario communities.
