MNR Enforcement Blitz

The Ministry of Natural Resources has wrapped up a successful Lake Trout Enforcement campaign.
Officers checked 89 anglers and laid 5 charges during the crackdown earlier this month.
4 Dryden residents were charged for failing to stop for a conservation officer, angling without a licenses and failing to produce a fishing license.
A non-resident angler was charged with having two fish over the legal limit.
The blitz was held to raise awareness of the importance of regulations in place to conserve lake trout populations.
