MNR Fines Minaki Man $1,800

A Minaki man is facing a $1,800 fine after pleading guilty to selling baitfish without a licence.
Duane Hell and his company Paradise Cover Properties Ltd. were each fined $800 for unlawfully selling baitfish for commercial purposes.
Hell was also fined $200 for failing to submit his annual baitfish report.
Hell’s bait shop supplies three resorts operated by Paradise Cove Properties Ltd. on Winnipeg River in Minaki.
The court heard the case in Kenora at the end of July.
