MNR Fire Training

A quiet start to the fire season has allowed area Ministry of Natural Resources crews to do some extra training.
Information Officer Debbie McLean says firefighters will finish working with sprinkler systems today which is a vital component of their job.
The system is intended to protect remote residential areas in the event of a wildfire.
Crews will be able to trouble shoot how much equipment and time is needed to put out an actual wildfire.
