Despite the hot weather, and recent lightning activity
the Ministry of Natural Resources is not considering a
restricted fire zone.
The public is reminded there is no day burning allowed
for brush and grass fires and all campfires must be kept
small and attended at all times.
MNR Spokesperson Debbie McLean says the region saw 28
fires in the past two days.
