The warm, dry weather in Northwestern Ontario brings an
increase in the fire hazard.
The Ministry of Natural Resources has responded to five
new fires this past week.
Information Officer Debbie McLean says open fires will
still be allowed, but outdoor enthusiasts do need to take
precautions.

the west and southern portions of the Northwest Region.
