The Ministry of Natural Resources has handed out a number of fines for fishing violations in the Kenora District over the summer.
Twenty-five anglers, mostly from the U.S., have been fined just over nine-thousand dollars.
Most of the charges stem from having too many walleye over the legal limit.
The MNR encourages the public to report any fishing violations.
