The Ministry of Natural Resources checked over a
thousand hunters in the Kenora area during the fall
hunting season.
67 of the 115 charges laid are before the court, they
include careless hunting, unlawfully hunting deer, night
hunting, trespassing, abandonding flesh suitable for
consumption and making false statements to a conservation
officer.
The MNR also issued 49 warnings, seized 17 firearms,
nine deer and three sets of antlers.
The defendants firs tcourt appearance will be December
11th in the Ontario Court of Justice in Kenora.
Big Game season closes in Kenora December 11th.
