MNR Officers Charge 14 Anglers

Ministry of Natural Resources Conservation officers issued 14-charges during a recent blitz on Basswood Lake, just south of Atikokan.
Officers checked 125-anglers and handed out 78-warnings.
Violations included entering a park in a non-designated entry, fishing without a licence, operating a power boat in Quetico Provincial Park and angling with a barbed hook.
