The Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Natural Resources says optimistic that the forest industry will come back, but notes it could take a couple of years.
David Anderson was in Dryden yesterday on a fact-finding mission.
Anderson says the Feds will be looking at a number of strategies to help the sector gain strength.
Anderson notes he will take all feedback to the Minister in hopes of finding a solution to help the ailing sector.
He adds they’re looking into reforming the employment insurance program.
