The Provincial Government is pleased with the early success of a new
telephone tip-line.
The system to report illegal natural resource activities has received
more than 657-calls in just 4-months.
Callers to the tip line are connected to enforcement staff who can
relay information directly to officers in the field.
One of the calls allowed conservation officers to quickly locate an
illegally killed moose in time to catch the suspects and protect the meat.
