MNR Ready to Deal With Fires

It could be a volatile weekend for Ministry of Natural Resources fire
crews.
The public is being urged to put out camp fires and to avoid outside
burning as the fire hazard has reached high to extreme across the Region.
Information Officer Debbie McLean says the fire situation also depends
on mother nature but notes crews are on high alert.
McLean says a spark right now will start a fire that will burn
quickly and intensely.
She says the manpower and equipment are both in place to deal with
anything this weekend.
