Northwestern Ontario’s first-ever Ministry of Natural Resources Canine
Team was unveiled to the public Wednesday.
Conservation Officer Bryone Cosgrove and his canine partner’s Bandit
and Riggs will use Dryden as its home base but will be required to travel
where needed.
The Labrador Retrievers can uncover evidence by detecting wildlife,
fish and firearms and can also track violators and people who are lost.
Cosgrove says Bandit and Riggs are invaluable in assisting officers to
protect our Natural Resources.
