The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry is seeking the public’s help in a case of a shot and abandoned moose northeast of Ear Falls.
Conservation officers were notified of the incident on September 28th.
They found the animal left behind on South Bay Mine Road in the area east of Washagomis Lake.
Officers found that the nose, tongue and bell had been taken from the carcass, while the rest of the moose was left behind to spoil.
