The Northwestern Health Unit has a new set of wheels at its disposal.
A mobile dental clinic is ready to hit the road this summer.
Manager of Dental Health Dawn Sauve says they will help people living in underserviced areas.
Funding for the van was made available through the Ministry of Health.
The clinic will be staffed by Health Unit dental hygienists, and a dentist is expected to be brought on soon on a contract basis.
The Health Unit also received funding to renovate three hygiene clinics in Dryden, Kenora and Fort Frances.
