MOH Supports Health Report

A new report reassessing public health services in Ontario is calling
for more money for prevention and promotion programs.
The suggestion is welcome news to the Regional Medical Officer of
Health Dr. Pete Sarsfield.
Sarsfield says the baffling omission in the 59 page report is health services for First
Nation communities.
Sarsfield is hoping the Province implements the 50-recommendations and
doesn’t let the document sit on the shelf.
The Government commissioned the study following the SARS crisis.
