Local funding figures from the federal and provincial ‘Investment in Affordable Housing Extension’ program is out.
The Kenora District Services Board will see nearly 2.7-million dollars over a six year period.
That money is earmarked for affordable housing improvements including renovations, rent supplements and housing allowances.
It can also be used for long term support including rental housing and home ownership.
