Money for Class Sizes

With a tentative contract now in place with Elementary teachers, the
Keewatin-Patricia District School Board is getting $330,000.
The money is intended to reduce class sizes and hire more primary
teachers.
Superintendent of Education Wendy Parkin says it’s too early to tell
where the funds will go.

n035 runs: 9 sec. out…question, more.

Parkin says the money will help the board reach the Province’s goal
of 20-students per primary classroom by the 2007-2008 school year.
