Money for Clean Energy

The Provincial Government is launching 2-new programs for First Nations and Métis communities interested in developing and owning renewable energy facilities.
Under the $250-million Aboriginal Loan Guarantee Program, First Nation communities will be eligible for loan guarantees for renewable generation and transmission projects.
An Aboriginal Energy Partnerships Program will provide start-up money for feasibility studies, technical research and business cases.
