Money for Economic Ventures in Atikokan

The Town of Atikokan is getting $40,000 from the Province
to conduct a value added material study.
Officials are researching the potential of establishing an engineered birch and aspen facility that could create up to 100-jobs.
The Government is also handing the town $200,000 to hire a
business advisor-government liaison that will look at attracting new
investment.
