Money for Wabigoon Feasibility Study

Wabigoon Lake First Nation continues to study the feasibility of
building a laminated post and beam manufacturing plant.
The Province has injected $265,000 into the study.
The Communities Business Developer James Kroeker says they
are working with a Finnish company to build a plant that will employee
35-people.
Kroeker says they are halfway through the planning phase and the First
Nation hopes to break ground on the facility in a year’s time
He adds they have made arrangements to sell their product to
Japan.
