The Provincial Government has come through with $3.5-million to construct over 3,000 kilometres of winter roads across the Far North.
The seasonal roads will reach 31-communities that are only accessible
by air or water.
Minister of Northern Development Rick Bartolucci says the network
will lower transportation costs of essential goods.
This winter’s above-average temperatures has delayed completion of
most winter roads in Northern Ontario.
