Research at Lakehead University is getting a big boost from the Federal Government.
Minister of State Gary Goodyear announced today a 2.5 million dollar grant for the school.
Research Team Leader Doctor Chris Southcott says the study will look at ways to protect First Nation’s culture and allow development of our natural resources in a balanced way.
Southcott says he hopes meanfull answer can be found that could prevent another KI situation from happening.
