Money Granted To City Of Dryden For Work On Duke Street

One of the main streets in Dryden has some more work coming up in the near future.

The City has been granted 250 thousand dollars for work that will be done on another section of Duke Street west of the bridge towards Domtar Mill.

Manager of Public Works Blake Poole says the work will consist of replacing the pavement as well as repair some drainage problems.

There is no confirmation yet on when the work will begin.

Councillor Roger Valley says they put this concern forward at the ROMA conference in Toronto and he thinks that helped showcase the need for funding.
