A surprising development at Bruce Montague’s constitutional challenge of the federal firearms act.
Before proceedings could begin this morning, Montague’s
lawyer, Calvin Martin informed the court that he had been dismissed by Montague.
Montague did not give any reason for his decision but did say he has spent a number of sleepless night’s thinking about it, and felt it was something he had to do at this point in time.
Justice John Wright told Montague he wants an update every month on his attempts to secure a new lawyer and would like the hearing to resume in four months time.
