Montague Released, Will Appear in Court in Novembe

The Unregistered Firearm Owners Association says after spending 10 days in Police custody, Bruce Montague is relieved to be back home.

The Court granted his release today ordering Montague to return November 15th to answer 8 firearm and explosive related charges.

Meanwhile, the Association expects to use the case to launch a constitutional challenge against Canada’s gun laws.

Spokesperson Ed Hudson says that could cost as much as $300,000.

Hudson adds a bank account has been set up to collect donations to help pay Montague’s legal expenses.
