The criminal trial of former Dryden Gunsmith Bruce Montague is taking a break for the weekend.
This morning, just two witnesses were brought before the
jury.
One was Montague’s neighbor in Eton-Rugby Township, Dan Landrie.
Landrie explained what happened the day Montague was arrested in September of 2004.
He says Montague was walking around the Gun Show in Dryden with a gun slung around his shoulder with a sign on it saying “For Sale, an unregistered firearm”.
Landrie also described the Montague’s as good neighbors,
who were very helpful and honest.
The trial is scheduled to resume on Monday in Kenora Court.
