Bruce Montague will be back on the witness stand for a
third day at his criminal trial on 47 firearms charges.
Montague’s lawer, Doug Christie has been reviewing each
charge one by one, and is about half way through.
Montague talked about why he modified a firearm he
acquired in the late 80’s early 90’s.
The weapon was changed from a semi-automatic to a full
automatic three years ago.
Montague says he alterred the firearm as a form of
protest.
The former Dryden Gunsmith says he tried to get arrested
by not registering his firearms, so he had to step up his
protesting.
Montague admits he was naive when he started his crusade
against the Federal Firearms legislation, and is now
having second thoughts about his actions.
