Moose hunter faces big fines

A southern Ontario man faces hefty fines for illegally killing a moose in the Ignace area.

The incident took place back in October of 2019, when a Christopher Brown of Corunna hunted a bull moose but didn’t have a tag.

He then transported the moose down to southern Ontario where it was processed.

He faces fines of $13,000 and has been banned from hunting in Ontario for six years.

He also had items seized during the investigation forfeited to the crown.
