An Ignace man has been fined $1,600 after he attached a
seal to a moose that was shot by someone else.
The 41-year-old was found guilty on a number of charges during a
3-day trial this week.
Making false statements and unlawfully possessing an illegally killed
moose were among the charges.
The moose was killed in December of 2003 off Highway 599, north of
Ignace.
