The Ministry of Natural Resources is continuing to work
on a joint study on Ontario’s moose populations.
The Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters, and Trent
University are looking into whether or not the species
population is dwindling.
Spokesperson Glynis Price says there looking into
whether or not there is a decline in the moose population.

Hunters are being asked to apply for a sample kit, and
send in a finger nail size of of moose meat for research
purposes.
