Moosefest Enters Its Last Year

The 10th Annual Moosefest is seeing its last year.
Director Dana Soucie says they will begin dissolving the corporation after this year’s festival, which runs from June 27 till July 8.
Soucie says only way Moosefest could continue is if new directors came forward, but so far they haven’t had anyone step up.
When it comes to the Canada Day activities, Soucie says they won’t be seeking a group to take it over.
Each event that takes place during Moosefest is run by a different group, and Soucie says we will have to see what happens when the day rolls around.
