A rebirth of Dryden’s Summer Festival.
‘Moosefest’ is back with a new organizing committee in place.
Joy Auren and Mike Readman were guests on the CKDR Morning Show Tuesday to announce they have big plans for the July 14th-22nd event.
Auren says she is proud with what Dryden has to offer and notes it’s time to start promoting the community.
Readman says they are starting small, with big long term dreams.
He stresses they want to enjoy the success of other major festivals in northwestern Ontario.
Readman adds they want to host an event that is geared towards the community as well as visitors.
