The population in the Dryden area is definitely getting older.
Statistics Canada has released the latest round of information from the 2016
Census.
It shows that there are more than 16 hundred residents in the city of Dryden who
are 65 or older.
That’s about 450 more than the population under the age of 14.
Statistics show there are around 2 thousand young people living in the city.
Also the stats show there are more women than men here in the city as well.
It shows there were just over 4 thousand women living in the City of Dryden last year, which is 330 more than the number of men.
