More arrests have been made in a recent unruly bar crowd incident in Sioux Lookout.
On December 16th, OPP say they attempted to move a large crowd onto the sidewalk along Front Street when the crowd swarmed officers in an attempt to free two people detained.
Officers say they were pushed, kicked and punched by the crowd who then attempted to try and prevent them from leaving the scene.
Five men and two women have been arrested, all from the Sioux Lookout and Hudson areas.
They face various charges including resisting arrest, assaulting police and obstructing police.
All will appear in Sioux Lookout court in January.
