More bad economic news for Atikokan.
This is the last day on the job for all 120 workers at the Proboard particle board plant in the town.
Citing weak market conditions, the company is shutting the facility down & has no timeline for re-opening it.
Earlier this summer, Buchanan Forest Products laid off 147 employees at the Sapawe sawmill.
