More Fraudulent Jewelry Charges In Dryden

Dryden Police are reporting more fraudulent jewelry charges in the area.

Police say on Friday at about 3pm they received a call that two men were trying to sell the victim fraudulent jewelry in the Shoppers Drug Mart parking lot.

Police then located the suspects car on Duke Street and the driver was immediately arrested for Fraud.

Dryden Police then say the passenger was also arrested for Fraud and was found to be wearing the jewelry they were attempting to sell.

Numerous items were seized from the individuals including 13 necklaces, 40 rings, fake Rolex watches and a large amount of money.

39 year old Constantin Ilie and 25 year old Florin Dragomir, both from Scarborough face charges of Fraud Under $5000 and Possession of Proceeds of Crime.

They will appear in court in Dryden on November 26th.
