More Funding for Thunder Bay Hospital

The Northwest Local Health Integration Network has doled out
$550,000 to the Thunder Bay Regional Hospital.
LHIN Chair John Whitfield says the money will help alleviate the
Hospital’s capacity pressures.
Whitfield says they’ll be able to move patients who no longer need
acute care spots into community care facilities.
