More Money For Local School Boards

School Boards in northwestern Ontario are receiving more money from the province for the 2017-2018 school year.

The Keewatin-Patricia District School Board is welcoming an additional $3.2-million.

The allocation will put the public board at $78.5-million.

The Northwest Catholic District School Board is looking at an increase of $1.7-million to $22.4-million.

The Kenora Catholic District School Board will see a hike of $1.2-million compared to last year, to put them over $24-million.
