Fire investigators are back at the scene of a Wednesday afternoon blaze on 1st Street.
A neighbour called the Dryden Fire Service around 2 o’clock after she could see flames coming out of the house.
At first, it was believed there was a person inside but fortunately it turned out they were not home.
Dryden Fire Chief Darryl Herbert says the interior was gutted by the flames that took crews about an hour to extinguish.
