Aboriginal people from the Rainy River district are voicing their opposition about the Harper Government.
Many took part in a walk Friday to denounce the government’s Bill C-45, calling it a threat to Treaties as well as the environment.
Treaty 3 Grand Chief Warren White says they can’t by and let their treaty rights be taken away.
Couchiching First Nation Chief Chuck McPherson says non-aboriginals should also be speaking out against the Bill.
