Kids in Dryden have a friend at City Hall.
Mayor Anne Krassilowsky made it clear last night she wants action
taken NOW to replace outdated & unsafe play structures in City Parks.
A report was submitted calling for a $300,000 expenditure over 4
years to replace equipment which no longer meets safety standards.
Her Worship point blank told Treasurer Linda McNaughton to go find
the funding now.

Dryden Kinsmen have pledged some $41,000 of the $102,000 needed to
replace the structure at Kinsmen Park on Van Horne & install new equipment
at Sandy Beach.
Other Service Clubs & Organizations will also be approached to see if
they want to help as well in various locations.
