More People Attending College in our Region

There’s more people attending college in Northwestern Ontario.
Confederation College is reporting a 5.5% increase at its Regional campuses, with 3,100 new students this year.
Vice-President of Academics Judy Maundrell says there’s a lot of interest in some specific college programs.
Maundrell attributes part of the increase to recent cuts in the forestry sector.
She says renewed interest in college programming is also helping boost the numbers.
