More Provincial Cash For Repairs and Upgrades

Lots of safety upgrades can now be made by area social agencies to their premises, thanks to your provincial tax dollars.

Two in Thunder Bay are sharing in over $145,000 in government grants.

Options Northwest in Thunder Bay is receiving almost $136,000 for upgrades, repairs and a new sprinkler system.

Community Living Thunder Bay will get $10,000 for upgrades and repairs.

Elsewhere, Rainy River District Women’s Shelter of Hope in Atikokan will receive $61,000.

Fort Frances Tribal Health Services gets $55,000 and Harmony Centre for Community Living in Balmertown will receive $45, 000.
