A moment of remembrance and healing at the Dryden Native Friendship Centre.
That’s what was done last week at a candlelight vigil in memory of Josiah Begg and Tammy Keeash as well as other missing and murdered indigenous women and children.
Volunteer Catherine Kiewning says the amount of support was fantastic since she was expecting around 40 people to come, and around 60 showed up.
Kiewning also says the event is important since Dryden as well of Northwestern Ontario needs to heal.
