Santa Claus arrives in Dryden this evening & there will be at least 1 little girl who has been waiting a long time to see him in person.
8 year old Michaela McNaughton is Autistic & loud noises like sirens upset her according to mother Linda.
She took her daughter to the Parade 2 years but had to leave after just a few minutes because Michaela was so upset.
This year, there will be no sirens allowed so people like Michaela McNaughton can come out & take part in all the fun of the event.
Linda says the change is important…

The Parade starts at 6:30 & please remember that CKDR will once again be collecting non-perishable food, new unwrapped toys & cash donations on behalf of the Dryden Christmas Cheer Board to help others have a Happy Christmas as well.
